Missing Person Found Near Forsman Road in Hancock Township

Paavola, MI - On June 1st 2021 Superior Search & Rescue UAV team was deployed at the request of the Houghton County Sheriffs Office to assist with the search for Judith Plute, a 75 year old female with Dementia and Parkinson’s. At approximately 3am the decision was made to deploy the entire team to the area to assist in the morning.

Judith Plute was located about 1/2 mile away from her residence by John Burcar and his dog Cody. She was found alive and well and was released on-scene by Mercy EMS.
