Missing 17 Year Old in Paulding Found
Paulding, MI - Superior Search & Rescue was requested by the Ontonagon County Sheriff's Office to assist in searching for Cam Besonen, a 17 Year Old with Autism. His body was located on April 26 2021 almost 72 hours after he was reported missing. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, and we would like to thank the over 400 volunteers who came to assist with this search. We would also like to thank the many agencies from across the Western Upper Peninsula who came to help search for him. On behalf of all of the family and law enforcement, we are extremely thankful for your assistance and efforts during the search.
We would like to also take a moment and say how extremely grateful we are for our community that we serve. Superior Search & Rescue spent 46 hours on scene and had 236 Man-Hours during this incident. We deployed and operated our UAV during the majority of the search.
